Ok, over the last week the car has stopped twice for no apparent reason, will not start on the key, exhaust prob lamp on, and also glow plug lamp. Both times on inclines, both occaisions rolled the car down hill in first and tried to 'bump' start, both times it worked, and both times blackpool illuminations self cancelled  -  my thoughts, water in derv?, is there an inline filter hidden somewhere?, bung on base of tank to drain it down(ie when little fuel therein) or it it just c88p French derv?

In fact any suggestions, normal running as expected no reluctance to accelerate etc!

Do you have VCDS, or any other code reader ? See what fault codes are stored....

No vcds but am passing an agency Friday, bank hol here tomorrow
