Hi All,

 

When I get my VRS I will be putting my own ICE in the car. Is there anything I need to know regarding the ICE in the VRS, or is it a straightforward job of swapping out original equipment for aftermarket stuff? 

 

I will be putting my Alpine Headunit in, along with the my JL Audio Sub and Amp. I may also buy some component speakers to replace the stock fronts depending on how good or bad the stock ones are.

If you still want to use the radio you'll need something like this, and unless you already have one, one of these, should be straightforward enough.

Though they seem to have gone up in price! Back in the day, I was sure they were about two quids.

 

There are a couple of aftermaket alternatives from the likes of Autoleads etc.
