revo med17 tsi remap via obd port

Featured Replies

Been toying with remapping the tsi, held off due to the write protection that required ecu removal to flash new software to it.

With the aid of a bit of googling, It appears Revo have cracked the encryption on the med17.

Anyone running one of these maps?

I have Revo Stage 2, but the ECU was bench-flashed first time for Stage1 by Shark, so second time was just a simple reflash for Stage 2.

Revo map is great, and so was the Shark Stage 1.

Encryption can not be cracked as its a 2048 bit, but it can be bypassed before the ECU  boots and reflashed.

Maybe Haldex Gen2. Haldex Gen4 whch you and me have is permanently on the move, giving 2% to rear wheels.

Find a 4wd roller.

Cheers. That's a great help. Not sure who is localish to northants that's a Revo agent with 4wd rollers. I know its not essential to get it on the rollers for a map, but I would be interested to see the stock output before the map.

Failing that its off to Northampton motorsports and remain ignorant to before and after outputs

Car booked in to Northampton Motorsports on Friday.

Had to find a way to justify fitting the 312mm brakes....

All done.

Big thanks to the guys at Northampton Motorsports for putting the Revo stage 1 map on it.

Car is transformed, wished I'd done it sooner!
