cambelt replaced,what an improvement!

Featured Replies

Today I've replaced the timing kit and waterpump after more than 7 years. The marks were half a tooth off because  the belt is getting a bit streched in time, but imediatly after I start the engine it got alot smoother and car feels more alive, more low end torque.

The old belt looks just fine,no cracks, the pulley is ok,the tensioner was a bit weak, water pump was looking like new,all OEM parts.

The new belt is more tighter due to the new tensioner.I used Gates timing kit and HEPU wp

I allways knew half a tooth makes the difference, but it fells more than that.

and by the way....if you want to buy OE quality on aftermarket ,NTN is the brand wich makes the hidraulic tensioner and pulley for OEM kit and Gates kit

,and you'll buy half a price same quality

Good Job. Good to know on the parts front to.
