Moon White Metallic

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I see this has appeared on the configurator, has it appeared on any other vehicles? Wondered what it looks like in the flesh so to speak.

Audi's Glacier White is exactly the same, down to the paint code. Apparently its hard to capture in pictures, I've heard it has more depth compared to the solid Candy White.

Chaps, thank you for the info and link.

Looks quite nice to me but as you mention, not easy to capture with a camera.

I have a large Audi dealer near me, might have a look see if they have one in that colour.

I thought it was a sort of pearl white?

It would be nice to see it in the flesh, I wonder if anybody's been brave enough to order it. Looking at the photos it seems to have a blue tint which most other metallic whites do. Can't believe Skoda wouldn't charge us if it was metallic.

Indeed, they even charge for battleship grey!

Candy White (9P9P) and Laser White (J3J3) are listed as solid paints with no extra charge in Sweden. Moon White (2Y2Y) is listed as metallic and cost extra. I think the numbers/letters are the colour codes, took them from the Swedish configuration page.

I ordered the Moon White, hoping it will be a "whiter" white than Candy. :)

You are correct, it's laser white which is no charge and moon white metallic is chargeable on VRS only. Thought it would be too good to be true.
