I totally agree JerryT - when I first had an Octavia I really wanted Race Blue (I misread the brochure and then realised I couldn't!). It was then very exclusive.

 

Now, not so - see plenty of Race Blue O3s but automatically presume they vRS models only to find out they are not.

 

To date I have still only seen 2, maybe 3, vRS O3s on the road. Was totally underwhelmed by the silver one I saw.

As someone would say in a welsh call center - I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT 

 

It's got a small mark on the front lower bumper but dealer is going to fix before pickup next week.

looks nice. I haven't seen many mk3 vRS's in my part of the uk either but quite a few cooking models in race blue   +1 on Jerry's comments about race blue

LOL doesnt bother me that its not vrs exclusive anymore. They still have exclusive colours on the vrs. I just think the blue is a fab colour but each to their own of course!

I love the blue too and so does the wife so nough said. Would be boring if we all had the same colour cars.

TBH I am in 2 minds with mine, I love it but it attracts more attention than I expected for a family hatch, I bet its the colour that does it !

In the 2 months I have owned it, a couple of school  mums said to the wife they love our new car, The plumber and window cleaner have been drooling over it when they have been round, and tonight the middle aged curry delivery driver also said what a lovely car it is. 

 

I was used to receiving compliments and looks for my 300ZX, as that was not that common and was (IMO) a lovely car, but as much as I love the vRS , I was sort of hoping most other people wouldn't look twice
