Production is ending then and the replacement will come soon after, but the replacement sounds like it will be quite different. News from Czech Republic says it will have more powerful engines and possibly sliding doors and 4wd. Probably won't be built in the Czech Republic either as Skoda are kind of full-to-capacity there having been awarded the contract to build the forthcoming Snowman and it's SEAT twin.

Having looked a bit more into this, my guess is that it will be a twin with a replacement for the current VW Caddy and be built in Poland.

 

This will probably also spawn a van version.
