Hello All

Hello all...

I've a 110,000 mile 97P Felicia 1.3MPi estate that is nearing the end of its economic life, and am looking to find an Octavia TDi to replace it. If anyone knows of one in the Bedford /Milton Keynes area, or wants to buy an old shed of a Felicia (hey, I'm good at advertsing!), let me know...

Things wrong with the Felicia:

1) Rust! Lots on wheel arches, bubble coming through on one front wing and what looks like it will soon be a hole on the tailgate...

2) Intermittent stalling.

3) Very slight exhaust blow

4) Rear tyres low-ish on tread

5) Small coolant leak from expansion tank

6) Numerous small oil leaks - does at least 4000m to a "dipstick"

7) Central locking goes weird very occasionally

8) Ventillation fan fails to work on anything other than setting "4" once in a blue moon. Fiddling with the switch brings it back again...

Good things with the Felicia

1) It runs

2) It has MOT until January

3) Ummm.....that's it really

Having said all that - they car has been *very* reliable and extremely cheap to run, hence my interest in replacing it with another Skoda.

Good idea?
