PID screen brightness

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to dramatically reduce the brightness of sat nav screen? I was driving through city last night and it was just too bright. I've got a long drive at night this evening and I'm concerned about it getting too distracting. I've pressed night/day button and that made some difference but not much. My other garmin unit you can adjust screen from 0% - 100% brightness and at night I always have it at 0%.

You can change the brightness somewhere in the settings. I think it may be under navigation.

You can set the Day Brightness and Night Brightness in the general settings from the navigation. I have set my day brightness to full (cancels out the sun glare through the sunroof) and set the night brightness to the lowest setting which seems to work nicely at night.

The default night brightness was way too bright for me as well, but no way near as bad as the dash in my chevrolet spark, that was very bright and couldn't be adjusted, anyone driving the car at night was visibly blue from the outside lol
