Clunking Noise

Featured Replies

I need ideas I have a clunking noise coming from the wheels when I turn left I notice it more when I leave my driveway in reverse I need advice please because I am no mechanic .

Thanks

IIRC when reversing with Left hand down if there is a clunk moving off or at low speeds it could be the right hand side Driveshaft/CV Joint.

mine does it on full lock either side...ive worked it out to be the drop links hitting the arch liner when on full lock

Get the car in the air and check you CV joins. If their OK (with the wheels on full lock both ways) then as mentioned it could be the drop links or I have heard the anti-roll bar getting caught and might need new bushes.
