Roof Bars - will 2010 Octavia ones fit?

Featured Replies

Hello.

Does anyone know if the new octavia estate roof rails are the same as the old one? I wondered if I would need to but new roof bars of if the ones form a 2010 estate will still fit. Thanks.

Yeah, its more about the shape of the rail and if the OEM bars for a 2010 octaiva will fit the rails on the new model.I'm in the dealer on Weds so I'll ask them too.

Thule roof rack is the same holder which is mounted on tagraling

OK thanks Bizango. It warrants an "oh FFS" though. Why cant they standardize the rail size? At least within models. Might have to get some Thule ones then if they fit both models with the same foot pack thing.

I know, I had similar "FFS" thoughts! :D

From various other threads and a check on the Thule size guide it looks like Thule 757 footpack and 961 wingbars are the multifit solution. Mk3 not due till end of July so plenty of time to look :)
