h&r lowering springs

Featured Replies

Hi can anyone help me? I want to order these springs but the seller is asking for front axle weight, it's either up to 1069kg or from 1070kg, the car is 2014 superb estate 170 dsg 4x4, regards K.

Yes, it does get a bit confusing with all the variants doesnt it.

Where you getting them from? They should know just by your car reg/details which kit it is.

I'd say yours would be the > 1070kg's, but ask all the same

You could give awesome al a ring or message

They are £167 for the springs and £180 fitting at AwesomeGTi

Not that I've enquired for myself this morning or anything lol

i dont think you can lower more than 30mm because it breaks the anti roll bar

From 1070 is what you need.

Open the right front door (LHD) and look for a sign at the bottom.

Nr 1 is your front axle weight.

I have the same car whit H&R springs.

I remember when looking at wheels that gross vehicle weight is over 2100KG so it going to be grater than 1070kg as weight distribution is biased to front. The less than 1070kg springs set must be for the saloon.

Very nice dxj that's what I want, wondering if I should have gone candy white now mmmmm, then it's probably too late now but I most say the standard rims they are very nice indeed, also how sleek is your roof box.

@koppaberg you just need 20 inch rims now and your sorted

Nah don't like putting bigger rims on as it tends to mess with handling and besides I like the trinitys ;).

Damn you for making me google packline, to find I can't get them in the UK!
