Just out of curiosity how much of a difference if any is the standard right hight between different cars? Having mine down 30mm on friday, this is my standard hight.

Are you buying 30mm lowering springs? Can't quite make out what you mean...

after installing the eibach prokit, the front dropped 30mm, while the rear dropped 20mm.
measurements (with full tank) from the ground to the top of the wheel arch:-
 

before front: 680mm
before rear: 690mm

after front: 650mm
after rear: 670mm

Yeah im getting 30mm springs but just on about standard. Going off JR RS's figures there mine is already 15mm at the front and 15mm at the back aprox lower then his already from standard.

Front - 27" (686mm)

 

Rear - 26 3/4" (680mm)

 

tank 3/4 full.

 

Is front ride height different between petrol and diesel versions?

No 2 cars seam to be the same standard?

No 2 cars will have the same standard parts with the same wear so they'll be slightly different...

All appear low compared to mine though! I may measure tomorrow. :\

Mine seams pritty low. Will be interesting to see what happens on fri after my springs are fitted

don't forget the transmission type (dsg/manual) will also affect the height.

Will do vrsadz. Dsg would be hevier right? Mine is a cr manual estate. Fl's do look to sit lower as standard

I always thought facelifts sat higher? mine sat silly high, to the point it looked like no engine in it from outside!!

Since lowering, hugely satisfying! Should have measured but come down a looooong way for 35mm HRs

Plus 17 or 18" alloys might make a difference too?

Just measured mine as I noticed mine sits lower than my mates face lift vrs.

My measurement are 660mm at the front and 670mm at the rear (I have spring assisters fitted which does raise it)

I have standard 18" and too my knowledge its not lowered? :/

Just measured mine after it was lowered today on 30mm pi. And its 65.5mm at back and 65mm at front.

On the Mk2 the VRS was 15mm lower than standard, and the sports suspension factory option and the sport model were 30mm lower than standard
