Tyre monitor works :(

Featured Replies

Last night about half a mile from home "Bong" and up pops check tyres. Carried on with such a short distance, gave steering a bit of a wiggle all seemed ok.

Got home checked and could see one of the original rear conti's looking sad but not totally deflated.

Out with spare :) so glad I invested in that!

Found a wire spike sticking out the tyre about half inch in on the tread :( tyres on rear were about 2/3rds worn, with 19.5k on them.

Looks like a trip to local tyres shop to get some ps3's or similar.

At least I know the tyre monitor is operating and picked it up very quickly.

Mine is exceptionally sensitive. Within 1PSI actually.
