I keep on seeing on ebay aluminium hot pipe,

what is it for and is it worth getting one?

I'm going to assume it's a pre-warmed aluminium crack pipe. Buy 2.

Should imagine that's an intercooler pipe, probably the one that goes between the intercooler core and the intake manifold.

Think op may be looking at the pipe for the ko4 225bhp engine,the one that runs down the side of the engine bay,in which case it wont fit the ko3 turbo'd cars

Did you have to get a custom silicon pipe to connect the turbo outlet to the metal pipe?

yup as outlet on k04 is bigger
