Modified car insurance

Featured Replies

More quotes done. Adrian Flux were similar to the others but at least managed to get under the £400 mark. Tried some of the comparison sites and LV came back with the cheapest at around £320. Legal cover was extra, which made Diamond Insurance (shaped for girls!) the best overall at just a few pence difference to my renewal (which doesn't include the remap). I'll go back to the forum sponsor companies again, but I don't think they'll be able to get the quotes down that far.

Sky insurance

£580 all mods declared and replaced like for like.

Well, Adrian Flux got the business in the end, beating all the other quotes I'd had, at £325. I'd expected call backs from a few of the insurers last week, but they didn't happen. Just sorting out an appointment at Shark at present, hopefully to coincide with the next East Midlands meet (save doing the Mansfield trip twice).

Glad to see we could help, if you have any future questions or queries then you know where I am.

Cheers

I got insured with Sky today for £330 with a K04 and all mods in my sig declared. Very pleased with the price and knowledgable guy on the phone.

Adrian Flux were £345 and Chris Knott could get nowhere near either quotes.
