Water sloshing inside dash.

Featured Replies

Following heavy overnight rain there is a lot of water sloshing behind the left hand side dash.

I have checked the pollen filter and footwells, and they are both bone dry.

I also lifted the plastic grille under the windscreen to look for blocked drains, but it looked clean under there and I couldn't discover how it drained anyway.

I'm puzzled how the water managed to get into the back of the dash without wetting the pollen filter or the carpets, I assume it's somehow got into the heater.

Over the last few days the water seems to have drained away, I guess via the drain in the heater that's there to let AC condensate out.

I'm I bit concerned that the heater AC condensate drain is partially blocked.

Has anyone any information about getting acces to this drain to cleanit please?

Thanks for the link, I'll certainly have a look.

I just can't work out how water seems to have got into the heater but the pollen filter and carpets are dry.
