Deleting Mailbox Contents Exchange 2003

Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anyone know how to delete the contents of a mailbox in Exchange 2003 without actually having to log onto it in Outlook?

Got a customer with a mailbox which is 1Gb! and the user left ages ago!

Cheers

Rob

The hatchett approach would be to delete and rebuild the mailbox but I guess that's not what you're after.

I'm guessing if you go through the server and do a search for directories with the name that matches the mailbox/user name you could delete some of the contents that way.

Use system manager to purge the mailbox assuming that you don't need any of the contents.
