British Rally Championship & Scottish Rally Championship

Featured Replies

This coming weekend sees round 2 of the BRC, the Jim Clark Rally based here in the Scottish Borders. Main rally hq is in Kelso  & all stages are within a 15 mile radius of Duns, starting with the traditional Friday night blast around the streets of Duns, then out into the countryside for 3 more stages, service then a repeat of it all, nearly dark by this time for the front runners. Good entry for the BRC event, but also landies, Historics, Challenge & the National guys all having a go. It all finishes on Saturday in Kelso, but Sunday sees the Scottish Championship guys having a bash at the the Reiver's Rally, the only tarmac round in their season, 8 stages in all.

Come & see us for lots of high speed action on great roads. Website is at jimclarkrally.com where you can find info on where to buy supporter's packs & programmes.

Weather forecast is lloking pretty good, maybe the odd shower to make tyre choice more of a challenge.

Hope to see you.

Cheers,

thedinger

Well that didn't go according to plan, with three spectators killed when a car lost control.

There was a marshall being interviewed this morning basically saying "It's not our fault they stood in the way" which might not have been the best thing to come out with.
