URGENT: ammunsden sat nav question

Featured Replies

So I've been having problems for a long time now with my sat nav intermittently working! So I've had a quick look and straight away popped down this purple/pink wire! Any idea what it is? Where it should be? I can't find anything

Both the blue and white are plugged in, but the third isn't

I unplugged and plugged in the connectors at the GPS on top of the car and it picked up my location! Then... I went for a quick spin and realised that the cursor showing where I am was moving in a different direction to me.

I'll check behind the sat nav now but I'm thinking the gps itself is broke!

I proceeded to go behind the unit! Unplugged and plugged back in! Took her for a spin and worked! But for how long is another thing!

The fabia antenna on the roof could be the issue as there has been faults with them, I had mine replaced as it was only working intermittent

Thanks Seboni. It's working again after removing the wires and reseating them behind the stereo. If this goes again I'll just change the GPS on top of the roof! thanks!

So, does anyone know what  the third wire that isn't plugged into anything is for?

Could be for DAB if fitted to the Amundsen Headunit.
