So just wondering if any other front splitters would fit the vrs? Seems the LCR is a popular mod, but just wondered if anyone has tried summat else? Think I'll leave it if it's only option! May fit the side vents but leave/paint black to contrast the silver (not cheap them vents!!)

I remember them fitted any car Renault could have made a fortune selling them as accessories.

If you wanted a deeper one the espace ones where bigger. Had one on my old escort mk6 lol.

I was looking at one called "rhino lip" but wanted to see one fitted before making a commitment. Theres a similar one too called ezlip i think but not rated as much because of it being made of a foam like material.

Cheers for the info guys, I like the idea but seems very common (not a bad thing, they look good) so just wondered about something different! Considering popping some Land rover mondials if they ain't too heavy, not seen an octy with them on yet!

I know of a bloke round here who had some Mondials on his Golf.  I thought they looked great but he sold them on after a short while.  The main reason was the weight of them, they were just too damned heavy.  Shame as it was a bold move that looked pretty good.

Mate of mine had the mondials on his mk5 golf, looked good and different but are starting to creep in on a few cars now

Yeah, I've seen a few more recently.  They've been on tourists cars coming to the coast for the day and have only been on Mk4 Golfs from what I've seen.  The chap I mentioned had them on about two years ago and he only had them on for a couple of months.  They'll need adapters too as I'm pretty sure they are 5x120.
