Citigo, Mii or something else?

Featured Replies

We may be in the market for a newish small car in a couple of months time.

The Citigo will naturally be in the running as it looks like it will do all we need - nippy enough, some creature comforts, cheap to run and so on.

We would consider a Mii too (Though I prefer the styling of the Skoda) and an Up if there's one cheap enough. Are there any noticable differences between them in terms of trim to watch out for?

Budget - somewhere between 6 and 8k depending on whether we want a standard SE or to stretch it for a higher trim level with sunroof. A Citigo Sport in white would be very nice for example. A look on autotrader shows cars in budget with less than 15k miles and 2 years old.

When's the next set of finance offers likely to come in? If there's 0% with free servicing then a new car might be a worthwhile option.

What else would you test drive in this size car?
A 500 will get a look, given that we've had two very good Fiats.

We'll also see what our money gets in the way of a Fabia or Ibiza.

Any suggestions?

Taylor93 on here was looking at selling his 62 plate Citigo for less than dealers are charging.

Just a thought.

Not yet 2 years old and over £4,000 saving on a new one.

Plus it's got nearly every optional extra on it, an Elegance model.

It's black though and no sunroof, just everything else!

If it's still for sale when we are ready to buy then I'd definitely be interested. It looks great. Trouble is she's starting a new job this week and doesn't want to commit to spending the money until she's happy it's going ok. That might be fairly soon, fingers crossed. Fancy a ten year old Punto in part ex? 12 months MOT.... ;)

well it is still for sale and I dont mind waiting a few weeks until your ready to come and take a look :) just drop me a PM when you want to arrange something ;)

However I think i will pass on the Part Ex :P
