Phone the dealer?

Just remove them they're only stuck on. Car looks better IMO without them look in the tech section bowders has done a how to guide.

No, mine is second hand - thought you wanted donors to re-do.  I sold the front bumper but the buyer didn't want/need the trim.

Just pop em off and paint them. I considered buying new ones but painting is the cheap option. I've been told that you can also use peanut butter to revitalise em.

Peanut butter works great. Worth every penny.

I agree just don't buy nutty rather than smooth like I did once! :notme: Was hell of a job to clean up but great finish! It's because of the oils inside of it!

Lol!

so.... do you rub it in until its gone again, or do you let the Peanut butter sit for a while first?

Neightbours will think ive actually cracked up! :D

When I tried it for the first time other day I buffed it into the strips and left for half hour while I took heater blower out to remove some leaves. I then used a microfibre cloth and buffed it off.

Peanut butter.

I was pleased with the results but it didnt last as long as most people stated, 4 days but we did have a lot of rain after. Maybe after a few more applications itll soak the oils better. Or I did it wrong lol.

I left mine on for 5mins and buffed off. Applied it with my fingers, not such a great idea. They go numb after 2 mins lol. Mine are holding up well. I imagine after a few applications it would hold for a fair time.

I wouldn't be able to resist eating it love the stuff :mmm:

I used boiled linseed oil on mine, looks spot on  ;)
