VRS R Diesel engine?

Featured Replies

Nope. Not a chance.

Electric Chargers will make it into plenty of VWG cars though into the future.

Very much doubt it, however the bi turbo diesel due in the passat next year could make it, rumoured to have 237bhp and 360flbt+,...interesting combination,..........plus the Passat may get the 276bhp TSI found in the Cupra,...

no chance, if it was available then expect to pay the same sort of price

Absolutely no way, though e-chargers will probably gradually appear on mainstream VAG cars to help further eliminate turbo lag...probably not for a while though.

VW & Audi will get the nicest toys first. Seat and Skoda will then receive the hand-me-downs once something better arrives.

Audi's answer to BMW's twin turbo 3.0 diesel (313 bhp) and triple turbo 3.0 diesel (380 bhp). As others have said no chance of ending up in what is essentially VW's budget brand cars - except maybe a Seat.

I recon the bi-turbo CR240 might just make it into the Superb MkIII, hopefully???

Ur Berb looks just like mine was, except I had the optional foc luna alloys, plus park assist, rear bum warmers, sunset, rear blinds, hhc and tpm, it was a great car, still miss it, the Octy is better in some respects, but the Berb is still a great car and there are quite a few things about it that the Octy can never live up to!
