Multi Channel WiFi recommendations

Featured Replies

Hi all

We're on TalkTalk copper using their Technicolour router.  Our wifi performance used to be good but has degraded - especially over the last year or so.

I ran a wifi analyser recently and discovered the main issue is competition with our neighbours for bandwidth on channel 1, but other channels - especially channel 11 - are pretty clear.

So now our problem; I can't change the channel on our TalkTalk Technicolour router (it came preconfigured and doesn't include channel settings in its admin console) so I'm looking for recommendations on a cheap channel-settable router for band 1 (low band) only.  We have no band 2-capable devices so a dual-band router is of no benefit.

Any suggestions - or offers :) - please?

Regards, Mike

You can ash into them and fix it. Also some pick a free Chanel at power on so a power cycle may fix it.

A quick Google suggests you can manually get to the Wifi pages, it's just hidden behind talktalk's user friendly interface.

Which model number is it?
