2006 Octavia VRs Front fog light replacement and wing mirror Arm

Hi I hope someone could help me here,

My offside front fog light has smashed and have a replacement I would guess I have to lift up the front and take off the plastic sump/engine protector would this be right?

Also need to replace complete mirror arm on driver side as a transit decided to run me literally off the road.

I noticed the door card has to come off so best way to do this without damaging if anyone knows.

Any addvice would be much appreciated.
