Can anybody tell me want the light assistant/ and light asst with auto dimming etc does,it shows it in the new brochure but does not explain what it's for?

If it is what I think you're referring to its the electrickery which adjusts the headlamp beam angle depending on driving conditions and ambient light. It also seems to adjust the backlighting on the instrument cluster display.

It shows this as std equipment on the elegance and l & k ,and just wondered if it is auto or manual operation ?as u have it on yours.
