Parking sensor computer

Featured Replies

Hello, I´m having trouble with my parking sensors, they seem to empty my car battery over night so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to find the computer for the parking sensors. My first thought is that it is kept under the driver seat, at least the box under there looks damaged and might be the reason my car battery is draining through the night.

Thx

How have you identified that its the PDC unit that is discharging your battery?

how old is the battery in the car?

It was plugged into a computer and the technician said that the sensors were discharging short circuiting to the body.

My battery is less than 6 months old, replaced it cos it was always empty.

Will check the PDC controller later this week or have a technician look at it for me.

Thx for the replies

If that is the case then the next thing I would be looking for is exposed wiring where the sensor wiring goes into the car and has rubbed on the bodywork.
