Probably a stupid question but as I've never had to change brake lines before I'm not sure what is possible. Just wondering if the union can just be unscrewed and screwed on to the existing vrs brake lines. I know I should go braided but I just want to get them fitted then upgrade after. Thanks in advance.

you will need brembo brake lines for the mk4 golf/octy 1 platform, the stock lines/hoses won't work with the four pot caliper. they are around 50 a set iirc
