automatic android app

Featured Replies

Hi anyone know when this will be available in the uk? A dongle plugs into the car diag port and gets monitored by the phone apparently. Sounds good for the phone telling us loads of info incar whilst we drive. Will it tell me when the vcds reports an error or if a bulb blows? Sounds like a good idea.

Webby is automatic.com.

You're at least 2 years out of date with technology, an app called torque has been available that does all that apart from bulb failures I think lol

Oh dear, well I only heard about it today. Would be better if the adapter things were like a fiver.

Torque pro is a good app, although not sure your vehicle will utilise most of its dials features etc. Its nothing to do with VCDS though which is a much more comprehensive diagnostic which emulates vw's VAS system and costs circa £250.

Oh and you can pic up and ELM327 Bluetooth dongle for less than a fiver off ebay.
