What mileage does my Octavia Vrs need the cam belt changing at.

Ive read different figures 80000 and 120000.

My 52 plate car has done 75 k so im thinking its bout time it got done.

It should be changed at 60,000 miles really.

Yes the spec is 120,000 but it must be checked at 60k and 20k there after. Personally I dont know how you would check a cambelt without removing it and once you have done that you may aswell replace it.
