CHL on 2014 Yeti without auto lights!

Featured Replies

I was helping another Briskodian make some changes to their new 2014 Yeti SE yesterday and all worked fine except one thing that I couldn't get to work - the fogs as CHL.

There were several options in the menus relating to CHL and I tried various combinations, but couldn't get them to work at all.

Long coding in 09-Central Electrics when I left was:

I can post screen shots of the relevant pages from VCDS if that helps.

Can anyone see where I went wrong?

Thanks.

No one else tried getting CHL working?

On main lights or fogs?

Without auto lights...

Hi KBPhoto,

I notice it's a SE and no auto lights but you got them working on my Elegance no problem :)

It is an SE without auto lights, unlike your Elegance.

My 2007 Octavia doesn't have auto lights, but I have CHL active (on a basic timer).

I'm surprised it can't be done on a 2014 Yeti!

Have you tried to enable CHL in manual mode (the same procedure as on Octavia II FL without light sensor)?

To engage CHL you have to leave dipped lights on, take out the key and flash one time with long headlights.

Which other functions did you manage to activate? Is there a post on VCDS tweaks on facelifted Yeti? Thx.

Activated quite a few things. There is a thread for Yeti VCDS tweaks. Look it up.

Pretty sure I've left it on 'manual', but will check next week when I go back to see him.

I've passed on the above info to the owner to try. Thank you.
