Had a Rapid 1.6 TDI greentech for a couple of days, seems ok apart from the annoying sound system, when will Skoda ever learn to sound dampen the door cards,probably the worst for vibration I have ever experienced from a Skoda

So that's another project for myself, the sound from the head unit and speakers seems acceptable

Just one more design fault that if its been raining and you wind the window down you get soaked

So I won't avoid the soaking if I change to a Rapid, it does it on the Citigo

Mine is the same, Door cards, especially the front rattle like b_stard !!!!!

The system isn't much better either imo

I have terrible low speed booming resonance noise!!Still to try and fix yet????

The inner door panel, the whole panel on door.

the problem is that the door card (panel) touches the speaker casing making it resonate

 

just a bit of Dynamat around the speaker and perhaps a piece in the panel by the handle will do the trick, cant be bothered at the mo until  ive had enough lol
