I'm thinking of fitting some drl's on my vRS and was just wondering if anyone knows if the ones on the Mk2 are the same fitting as the original front fogs on the Mk1?

I hate drl's fitted to cars that are not meant to have them as standard!

In the same group of mods as washer jets with blue neons on imo!

I hate DRLs full stop, yet another thing on modern cars that you'll need to fix at some point, along with stop / start, auto wipers and lights, auto dimming mirrors, electric seats, radar, parking cameras, I could go on...

I don't think they fit

I think they are bigger than the mk1 fogs. You could take out the internals and try to make them fit.

Thanks to the guys that actually replied to the question, as i say i was only thinking about it? Now ive decided not to bother! I'll just get some decent bulbs for original fogs

I put HIDs in my fogs. For the rare occasion that I use them they are brilliant. Just had to take out the insert inside the foglight to fit the bulb as a hid one is longer.
