AP/Weitec Coilover owners...

Featured Replies

installed these couple of weeks ago and very happy with them. But I don't feel they are low enough at the back. I've got them 14 threads from the bottom at the front and all the way down at the back.

I'm going to take the adjusters out at the back. When I fitted the coilovers I tried sitting the spring without the adjuster on there and it seemed like it wouldn't seat properly and just sat on the slanted part (if that makes sense?)

Anyone with these coilovers confirm if I'm right or I was just being thick!

Mine poped over the raised bit with a bit of force. If not take a file to the corner of the last spring coil just enough to get it over. Dont forget to paint the bare metal if you do though

You could always take the adjuster ring out and leave the threaded part in for it to sit on? Should get a couple extra mm off lows

That's what I mean, I'm gonna leave the threaded part for it to sit on, I didn't explain it very well, but the spring doesn't seem to seat properly over the threaded part without the adjuster ring
