Gearbox options?

Looking for some opinions...

Looking at alternative gearboxes for the Fab... It's a 1.2 htp which has a quite frankly terrible last gear, 3500 rpm at 70.

As part of improving the usability by increasing the power and torque of the car (plans are underway), I'm then thinking of usability long term and fuel efficiency at 70 needs looking at. So... I was looking for collective knowledge on gearbox options.

I've seen people put bluemotion JDD boxes into their 1.4 tdis, which result in more efficient cruising...

So. Questions.

1. Does anyone know any bolt-on options for the 1.2 htp?

2. If not, do we think it'll be adaptor plates for another box? Or swapping gears into the existing bell housing?

3. What do people think to the idea in general?
