Poor radio reception

Featured Replies

Hi All

We have been having problems with poor radio reception on the Wife's 07 Roomster. It was fitted with the standard Skoda radio. So I thought I would upgrade it to a Alpine unit with Bluetooth and iPod connection. The installed fitted the new radio, but said "do you know you have a problem with your aerial?"

They can put a new one in for us but he said it requires a new lead all the way back to the new radio. An hours labour plus the new amp aerial, about £100.

Has any one come across this problem before and what have you done to sort it out??

Many thanks

Steve
