Hopefully getting myself a 1.9 PD130 VRS soon, wanted one for 4 years now and my insurance has finally gone down enough for me to consider it viable

Currently driving a 1.4 80BHP Fiesta MK6 so the upgrade will be a big jump.

Should everything go to plan and I get it in the next month or so, planned upgrades include...

Remap

Coilovers

Re-Paint alloys (thinking white as the car will be black)

Short Shifter

And anything else I can get done easily.

Picked up my car last night, paid for my Freedom membership, hopefully becoming a good active member of the forum.

Previous been a member of the Micra club, MK4 golf club & mk6 fiesta club very active on the micra club as I had the car for quite a while.

low battery indicated remove battery check voltage if 3v clean battery around the area where the contacts touch and the contacts also isopropal will do refit battery will save a new one

Have come to use the A/C for the first time this past week and noticed that pressing the button for the recirculating air doesn’t appear to work. Button presses but nothing happens it doesn’t light up and stays off Also through the media center doesn’t do anything, wondering if anyone has come across this before? Or is it a trip to Skoda?

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? I was looking on autodoc to try and order some nuts as I didn't know how often they

What it says on the tin, really; recently my oil warning light came on, flashed a few times, made a really loud intermittent beeping sound, and then turned off again. This happened several times during a journey, but actually stopped after a little while. I checked the oil level, and its fine, so I reckon it's an issue with the oil pressure sensor/switch (I did get an OBD tool, but that came up as no error codes, so I'm really in the dark here).
