Swaybar/ ARB Fabia MC

Featured Replies

Hi friends,

I have some questions, my Fabia Montecarlo (1.2 TSI) has 30mm Eibach springs, they are fine but the car still "rolls" on the cornes. I am looking to buy Anti-Roll bar but I don't know which one would suit the most, and what would you suggest only rear/front or both.?

Thanks for any help!

H&r rear one, works a treat.

Alex from AKS should be able to sort you out.

Thanks for info, anyone else? Suggestions?

There is also Whiteline for the rear - I have it on and it is fine and adjustable.

Depends on what you want ;) H&R is the stiffest....

Iv read elsewhere that the front ARBs do very little.

Whether this applies to the MC, i dno. Most people just have RARB though dont they?

H&R Rear one all the way. Great handling upgrade...!!

Which dimensions do you suggest? Maybe not the stiffest but i definitly want the stiff one. :)

I didnt find whitelines for Fabia 2011 1.2 TSI?

I got this one - H&R Rear Anti Roll Bar - 25mm (Part Number: HR-33325-HA2)

Bought it from AKS Tunning (Alex is your man) but looking at your location it might be worth getting one from Slovenia or any other coutnry that's nearer to you to save on the shipping.

Who doesn't?!?! :)

Booked in at Awesome on monday for a whiteline rarb :)

I have the whiteline. Does the job. It's adjustable but I found the stiffest a bit too stiff for ordinary driving, so it's on the middle setting. Can't imagine needing anything stiffer for road use...

I've got Eibach springs and the Whiteline arb on the stiffest setting and it makes for more neutral handling,i.e.less understeer.

...but nothing too extreme unlike some fwd cars I've driven that had sharp lift-off oversteer.

Whiteline RARB fitted today at Awesome, and what a difference... On the middle setting for now, and the change is remarkable.

Spent the last hour removing the ballast weights from the rear, time for a test drive.

First impressions on handling after removing the ballast? Guessing removing 25kg isn't going to be any great improvement on performance.

Any weight reduction is good.  Is it noticeable? no noticeable change

I've got the h&r one on mine, easy to fit too

Got the garage fit mine with the springs, they said it took a few guys to man handle it into position. I'm certainly much happier with the handling now.
