I would say Lex were a bit optimistic on the first quote.

If its a vRS they are probably optimistic with the second ...

That suggests it was pre-built 3 weeks ago and now isn't....i.e. it got sold before they got their hands on it!

Lex make up lead times it appears. Another 12 weeks doing 2k a week in the Most uncomfortable Car I've ever driven (Kia ceed estate)

I don't know what lead times on an O3 Elegance are, but would have thought around 12 weeks from order is usual ?  

Maybe they are longer ....or Lex has been sitting on your order ....
