I blame the driver  :giggle:

I bought my 05 plate when it was about to turn 4 years old for £4450! Seems like I'll almost get my money back lol.

Wish I had leather in mine. Feel the dealer is taking the **** with that price though

It's truly astonishing that these great cars still have a significant residual value despite them being out of production for 7 years!  Still good demand for them, hence the prices, but becoming increasingly difficult to find a good one.

True!

Blimey, 7k for an 06 fabia? Mines also 06 in silver, standard with no leather but i paid £6000 for it almost 3 years ago from a skoda dealer with skoda warranty.

Well what gets me is I bought it less than that 2 year ago from DM Keith!

I traded it in at Ford for a Fiesta ST2 and got £4500 trade. Good luck to the seller at selling it at that price.

I have noticed he is also selling the car with Skoda Warranty, with all the troubles I had they give me an additional years warranty but isn't that warranty on me and not the car??

The reason the garage will know it has extended is because I included all the paper work when I part ex with Ford

Seller still got this motor... I think he aint going to shift it until he lowers the price.

But its low mileage, that makes it guaranteed trouble free doesn't it :D

lol if only...

That is what I were thinking when I bought it! :/

:p

There's plenty of mk1s at this price on the trader and they have been there for months! I think the dpf issue has given some demand back to the pre dpf cars.

lol if only...

I still blame the 6th owner of the car ;)

Reason being is that from what I'm personally hearing, the trade absolutely LUV 'em!

Been asked twice this year by 2 separate independent garages if I'd be interested in selling mine.

I predicted many years ago that this would become a future desirable car to own, and I still stand by that, even though I was laughed and scorned at at the time.

I was talking my local Skoda place and they really love these little cars, they reckon they still get the odd one a year they sell on for top price as they are 'desirable'.
