left hand side of front Grille not sitting tight

Featured Replies

Whilst washing the VRS this week, I noticed that the front grill, on the left side, is not sitting flush into the bonnet, but sits proud and can be pushed down

I took a look underneath and it seems that the clip holding it tight against the bonnet has failed

I have not had any bumps, or removed the grille. Is it easy to replace the clip, or should it be fixed under warranty?

Thanks

maybe someone has nudged you in a car park ?

a clip shouldn't cost much and any dealer worth its salt should fix it if not for free but cheaply

It's a bit high up to be nudged without any damage lower down, also the grille is unmarked.

It's going in to dealer next week, so I will have them look at it.

Thanks

The clips can be replaced and they are quite cheap. Your problem is you have to remove the whole grille to replace it. Use a 6mm socket on the clips ( a 6mm ring spanner on the one by the bonnet catch) to release them. But a few and you have spares incase you break any others.

Only 15000 miles till warranty expires!
