hi....i have a squeaking noise from the clutch when pressed and released even with the engine turn off.you can hear the squeaking noise from under the bonnet.the clutch it s not slipping it's normal

The car is a octavia vrs 02 plate

 

Any suggestions?

I have the exact same noise. The DMF on mine is also on its way out so clutch and DMF changing on Monday. Presuming that noise will disappear with the DMF noise!

ok....so that is bad news for me :(

the sound comes from the pressure plate wich is failing
