Someone to code my mkIII vRS - Yorkshire area

Featured Replies

Hi guys, looking for someone to code my mk3 vRS and show me around VCDS a little bit, as I'm considering getting it myself.

I'm in East Yorkshire but I'd be willing to travel if need be.

I'd like to enable things like rain closing, passenger mirror dip on reverse, cornering fogs and anything else really.

Can somebody help? I'd offer beer token in exchange!

Hi JB, thanks for the offer. I see that there's a few near me, I'll drop them a message when I get a chance.

Is there any difference in coding a mk3 from a mk2? Would it be better to travel to someone who worked on a mk3 before?

The job is essentially the same mate so it doesn't really matter. The difference can be with whether certain settings work or have an effect or not, but that's the same between any different models not just MKII to MKIII. As long as settings are saved before making changes it should be no trouble. I've done one MKIII Octy before and it was fine. The mirror tilt isn't too successful though but that's the same on a lot of models.
