Vcds results

I met up with gizmo 68 earlier today to exchange some skills.

I converted the dials in his superb edition 100 from green to white and he hard wired my blackvue and gave my car a scan with vcds.

Now my aircon stopped working recently so was expecting something to pop up. Would this be the evap sensor?

2 Faults Found:

00779 - Outside Air Temp Sensor (G17)

30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent

01314 - Engine Control Module

49-10 - No Communications - Intermittent

The second fault seems fairly straight forward, external temp sensor, so shouldn't be an issue

First fault looks to be the sensor, but I had the fault on mine and was that Sensor along with the broken wire under the car to power up the pump. Next to the alternator sensing wire plug

Have you had the air-con regassed?

Just wondering if the first fault is caused by low pressure in the system, so this stops it switching on :)

Yes as kev says most likely low on gas

I had it regassed in August so would hope it's not that. Had the uv dye and antibacterial clean as well

Take it back and get them to shine the light over it,must be a leak somewhere :(

Sounds like it. The last time I used it there was a bit of a strange noise so thought it was the pump.

I'll have a nose under the bonnet to see if there are any loose wires
