Part number required - front anti roll bar bushes for 1.8TSi

Featured Replies

Hi guys, does anyone happen to have access to the part numbers for the 1.8TSi 4x4 Yeti's front anti roll bar bushes please? I cant even find aftermarket/patent parts for the front bar but lots around for the rear bar.

thanks in advance. :)

That's great, thanks, I'll try it with my VIN tonight to see what it comes up with but Ive had two dealers tell me that you cant buy the bushes separately; you have to buy the whole anti roll bar with the bushes and metal clamps! :peek:

Hmm, yes just looked again and the bush isn't listed separately, just "stabilizer, complete"....

A bit worrying really as that's £170 just to replace the two £10 ish bushes! :(

Have you thought of asking one of the "plastic" bush suppliers? They may now of an equivalent.

I'm sure there'll be a bush that fits another VAG model.

Do I recall someone (Bossfox, maybe?) saying some ARBs off other VAG cars fitted the Yeti ? If so, have a gander on partscat for those cars.

I've searched through their listings and they only list for the rear of the vehicle. I may take another look at the front bar actually - wondering if they are bonded in place or something...  seems very peculiar.

I'm guessing you've just searched under "Skoda Yeti"?

I suggest you actually talk to them and ask do they know of a compatible part, because I suspect that the roll bar is a fairly standard size, and most mounting fittings are very similar.

I see what you're sating but its just strange that Skoda list it all as one part for the Yeti but individual parts for the Octavia etc and VW likewise with the Golf etc. All the rear components are available for the Yeti separately from the dealer and the after market manufacturers. :(

According to ebay, they don't have front bushings but drop links.

There are bushings for the rear which you know about.

really? I'm confused then as I thought every arb setup has to have drop links connected at the ends and clamped bushes located on the bar to allow twist?!
