Hi ALL
I have a octavia 1z 2006 I have facelift for 2010 rs bumper with LED daytime running lights .. I've changed my bcm from 1k0937049n to 3c8937049ac ..
I would like to hear about a few that can help me where to install the 3 wires from the context daytime running lights and where to mount .. there has to be dimming in the light ..
my car does not have xenon

I can tell you what the 3 wires are!

1. Earth wire directly to ground

2. wire to 09 CCM for PWM (switches between full brightness and dimmed)

3. wire to 09 CCM for modulated current / voltage supply to LED's

PLEASE IGNORE THE TEXT ON THE IMAGE (it is incorrect)

The left wire to the CCM is number 3

The right wire to the CCM is number 2

The wire going down is number 1

I can not quite understand the numbers you wrote

in bcm called the plug a-b-c-d-e-f-g and pin 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 etc

and my bcm 3c8937049ac 30 byt highend

A BCM was installed on the facelift models and looks like this....

The pre-facelift uses a CECM, and looks like this.....

 

 

I've also been looking for the DRL pin assignments on a CECM since my upgrade a couple of weeks ago.

 

So far, I've found this.....

Ok, i understand

 

Number 1 in my list (ground) goes directly to body earth

Number 2 in my list is plug C pin 26 switch between Full and dim

Number 3 in my list is plug C pin 48 Supply to LED module

 

Just remember this was to a BCM from a 2012 factory vehicle
