Indicators stay on quite a bit

Featured Replies

Hello. I have noticed that the turn signal stays on after many turns and I have to manually turn it off. It only turns off itself on very tight bends when you straighten up. Are they just less sensitive on this car than my previous car?

This has not happened on my car, nor did it on my OctyII but a friend has a VW Passat & it does this all the time. He has had it into the dealer & they claim it works fine for them. Maybe the same indicator stalk that only affects some cars.

This has happened a few times on mine, usually coming off a roundabout where the turn isn't very tight. I wouldn't say it's a massive problem, three or four times in 600 miles.

Didn't realise indicators were standard fit nowadays. Perhaps I should try using them. I did wonder what that flashing green light and ticking noise was when I engaged cruise control on the motorway. It didn't half get annoying after 100 miles or so. But I am used to BMWs so what do you expect.
