Octavia vRS combi mk2

Featured Replies

Someone once said that a picture says a thousand words, so there it is. My mk2 Skoda Octavia vRS combi 2.0 tfsi with manual gearbox. I take it to the track few times a year so I´ve taken it a bit to the race-side of life. :D

Main modifications for now are:

- Enkei RPF01 wheels, 18 x 8 with 35 offset

- H&R Monotube coil-overs

- Eibach antirollbars

Future plans:

- more brakes

- more power

- more fun

There is a One Mile Challenge on a near airstrip July 5th. That´s my next goal.

SpeedParty One Mile Challenge was fun. I don´t know how popular these are in GB. The idea is how fast can you accelerate in a mile from a standing start.

There were many fast cars, 5 over 300km/h (186,45mph), even one over 200mph (Corvette 329,4km/h that´s 204,7mph). My car is stock, so I´m very impressed with my result 218,2km/h (135,6mph).

Yesterday I fitted a new skid plate. The original plastic one was abused enough so I switch it to a steel one made by K27 Sheriff. It´s 2mm thick so it should work.
