Fabia 2005 - Passanger door keeps un-locking

Featured Replies

Hi All,

My wife’s 2005 1.2 Skoda Fabia is behaving badly when you lock the doors from the inside, all will lock but about 2 seconds later the passenger side will pop back up, it keeps doing this. It works fine using the key central locking but that’s a bit dangerous when you in the car as there all deadlocked. If you reach over and push the button down it stays locked as well so that’s what were doing for the moment.

I disconnected the battery for 30 minutes think the ECU was confused and the first time I tried it the lock stayed down the second time it didn’t and popped back up again……

Any ideas?

Also I read in the manual it possible to get it to automatically lock once you reach a certain sped can this be enabled at home or do you need to go in to a main dealer for this?
